High-Availability Limited are a UK based IT company that has been producing enterprise grade clustering software for businesses since 1995.

Our core product, RSF-1, was the first commercial HA cluster failover product for Solaris, Unix and Linux and has been deployed on thousands of mission critical enterprise systems worldwide supporting a wide variety of operating systems, databases and applications.

RSF-1 is now widely used as the HA Plugin of choice for many open storage appliance vendors to provide highly available OpenZFS Cluster storage failover services in demanding cloud environments.

We are currently looking for 2 IT professionals (1 x Support Engineer, 1 x System Testing Engineer) for roles based in our Wilmslow (Manchester) office. Working hours will be strictly 09:00 to 17:30 starting in September 2018.

Salary is based on knowledge, skill & experience but will be in the range £22,000-£32,000

In time, if out of hours work becomes necessary, a mobile phone and home internet connection may be provided to facilitate this.

Each role will be subject to the candidate successfully completing a 3 month probationary period.

Must have:

  • an IT Degree or equivalent Engineering subject with significant IT component


  • 2 years in a practical IT role (servers not PC’s) that covers the following:
